We have added a 5k option, which will be just the first loop of the race and then back to the start at the Tortoise and the Hare.

For the inaugural race, the Village of Goshen PBA wants to acknowledge Luke Lives On, the Lucas O’Connor Scholarship; this scholarship was founded in honor of Lucas O’Connor, one of three high school students who tragically lost his life in a motor vehicle accident. Portions of proceeds will also be given back to local groups, foundations, and scholarships.

June 14, 2020 – Steve Olsen Run For Rogosin 5K– Pier 84, New York. FREE Registration! Event founded by kidney transplant recipient Steve Olsen. Funds raised through this event will help Rogosin pursue critical research, treatment and prevention efforts for thousands of current and at-risk patients with kidney disease, as well as the millions with diabetes and hypertension. Over the years this event has raised over $ 1M and has steadily increased to over 250 participants each year.
June 14, 2020 – Ruthie Dino-Marshall 5K YMCA Middletown NY. An avid runner, Ruthie was symbolic of our mission. Her dedication to building healthy Spirit, Mind and Body was exemplified in all she did. Ruthie conveyed this enthusiasm for life, to all who knew her. This event raises money each year for the children of our community. The funds raised benefit the Middletown School District Ruthie Dino-Marshall Memorial Fund and the YMCA of Middletown summer camp scholarship fund.

July 11, 2020 – Turtle Trot 5K and 10K The successful 5K returns in additional to the 10K. Beautiful race staged in Kenoza Lake, a beautiful hamlet in Sullivan County. The course invites you to appreciate the beauty of the country. April Ackerman created this race to honor her father who was taken too soon due to pancreatic cancer. This race also honors her cousin Brenna Darling who died too young. Proceeds will benefit families struck with catastrophic illnesses.

September 19, 2020 – Begin Again Transitional Services (BATS) Assisting veterans back into a productive life. The race supports a project that provides transitional housing and supportive services for homeless veterans. A total of 8-10 male veterans can be served at one time. The main goals are to help each veteran achieve greater self-determination, improved residential stability, and increased income and/or job skills. Liberty, NY
October 17, 2020 – Livingston Manor Half Marathon and 5K Set in the Catskill Mountains, in the charming hamlet of Livingston Manor, NY, these courses will be fast and full of beautiful, autumn scenery! The Half Marathon course is fast. The course is one of the most scenic, point-to-point routes in the region, starting in Mongaup Pond Campground, following Mongaup Creek, the famous Willowemoc Creek, and finishing at Catskill Brewery.
